The Staff Senate Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce a partnership with the School of Communications and Sciences Disorders Professor Kerry Mandulak to host a three-hour workshop for employees to renew, reflect, and recharge as you enter the new year. This planning retreat will be held on Tuesday, January 28, from 4 - 7 p.m., on the Forest Grove Campus in Boxer Pause and on Zoom. Focus on your values and lean into your strengths with a community of others. Please register in advance.

The McCall Center for Civic Engagement at ½ðɳÓéÀÖ University is looking for workshop facilitators to participate in our annual Spirit of Civic Engagement Summit, scheduled for Saturday March 15, 2025. The theme is Civic Engagement in Polarizing Times and the audience will be a select group of students, faculty/staff, and community partners engaged in service and activism in our community.

As part of moving our new Strategic Plan forward, this fall ½ðɳÓéÀÖ completed its first round of inviting employees to pitch strategic project ideas that can help us achieve our new Strategic Plan objectives — and the results are in!

It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Dr. Lucy Dubin, our beloved vice president of human resources. Dr. Dubin passed away peacefully on December 8, surrounded by her loved ones. You can honor her legacy by donating to an organization in her name.

The loss of Lucy has been a deeply emotional and challenging time for all of us, and we are incredibly thankful for the compassion, empathy, and strength you have all provided during this difficult period.

Time Cards for the pay period from 12/15/2024 to 12/28/2024 must be updated and approved by 10 a.m. on 12/30/2024. Holiday hours should be submitted in Paycom using the Time Off Request feature at least through 12/28/2024 to be paid on 1/3/2025.
