½πΙ³ΣιΐΦ University offers congratulations to faculty members who were granted promotion in rank in Spring 2025.
Staff members, consider getting involved in ½πΙ³ΣιΐΦβs shared governance as a staff representative on either the University Diversity, Finance, or Honors & Awards Committees. The time commitment varies by committee but is generally 2-3 hours per month. Committees generally meet monthly from September to May. Consider nominating yourself or a colleague.
Commencement isn't possible without a great event staff team! Over 50 individuals are needed to greet guests, assist with student line-up, drive a golf cart, and countless other ways at both the morning (approx. 7-11 a.m.) and afternoon (approx. 11:30-3:30 p.m.) ceremonies on Saturday, May 17. Sign up to work a four- or eight-hour shift and earn floating holiday hours (salary/exempt employees only) or hourly staff are paid for hours worked but please make arrangements with your supervisor first. Also, enjoy snacks, beverages, and pizza in the event staff lounge.

Join Outdoor Pursuits and fellow classmates for a fun evening by the UC with campfire games, music and s'mores. Stop by after class and relax with friends!
Sarah Cavanagh, author of Mind Over Monsters: Supporting Youth Mental Health with Compassionate Challenge, will visit campus on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. A wide variety of events will be planned on, inviting students, faculty, and staff to engage with Prof. Cavanagh and the concept of βcompassionate challengeβ in the college classroom. Please save the the date and learn how you can prepare for her visit.
